Opening up for Shanneyganock will be Cort Delano and the The Bownesians. This talented Alberta singer-songwriter’s songs have been finalists (more than once) in competitions such as Calgary Folk Fest Songwriting Competition. It will definitely be an entertaining evening. It's a crying shame that the Calgary Folk Club show is on the same night as Justin Rutledge and Melissa McClelland's concert, elsewise I'm sure many of the city's folkies would be down at Central United Church for their show too! What's a person to do when there's so much good folk/roots music around?
